About

Richard is a USAC certified Level 3 coach. Richard's expertise comes from 12 years of coaching experience and over 20 years of both recreational and competitive cycling experience. Richard is a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army and due to his military injuries was sidelined from cycling for a little over 6 years. After a 12 month training comeback he sustained serious injuries in 2018 from a vehicle impact that left him immobile for nearly 4 months. Since returning to the cycling community Richard has put a special focus on creating a local cycling community that promotes the sport within the state. With that goal in mind he has set out to create stronger athletes through sport specific education and individualized structured training programs that allow clients to enjoy group training, in turn promoting camaraderie and a sense of community.
